Your hosts on our healing residential or day retreats are our experienced energy psychologist Donna Grant.

We run most of our empowering, transformational retreats at Aurora Borealis – a magical spot in the Scottish Highlands, named for the dynamic, dancing natural light displays that are commonly seen in this part of the world. The literal translation from the Latin is “light of dawn”, and we aim to make sure that experiencing a retreat with us will be the dawn of a new lease on life for our clients.

From time to time – especially during the summer months – we arrange retreats in various locations in the UK or even abroad. Recently, for example, we held several highly successful “Mind. Body. Reset” Retreat in Hampshire, and a fantastic “Thrive” Retreat on the Spanish island of Mallorca.

There’s no better way to restore your life balance than to indulge in a holistic break away from everyday pressures.

What Happens on a Source Health Retreat?

Here at Source Health we specialise in finding and healing the root cause of disharmony on a mental, physical and spiritual level. Our wellness retreats are based on this ethos too, in line with all our therapeutic counselling and techniques.

You may wonder how much can be achieved in a day retreat, or even over a period of a few days. Well, we carefully craft the time available to suit the needs of our clients on a personal and group level, ensuring that the experience is enriching for everyone and provides a safe sanctuary to tune into your mind, body and soul.

Our retreats contain a combination of various therapies and activities, from meditation and yoga to Reiki and massage. There’s joy and fun too, with dancing, drumming and other positive pursuits. Of course, no getaway would be complete without enjoying delicious healthy meals.

You are welcome to come alone, with friends or family members, or as a couple. In fact, our Retreats have proved to be perfect for re-juvenating relationships – just one of the many benefits.

My experience with thrive's mind body reset retreat was nothing more than life changing! Gemma's in-depth knowledge of functional medicine is impressive, but teaching this knowledge from a heart level with intuition compassion and warmth is what makes her gift extraordinary. And the beautiful spiritual heart centered jivamukti yoga teacher, Lily X took my yoga practice to a new depth of spirituality where i was able to surpass the physical and feel the deep spiritual teachings of the original yogic practice. In a world where yoga has been so westernized and physically based, this was a deeply healing experience for me.The energy and container these beautiful women held for us all was just exceptional. And the other attendees were part of the energy created as well, making this the best retreat i have ever been to and a week I will always be grateful for! There were amazing connections made and cannot wait to return again next year! Thank you all for what you brought to this experience!"
